Terms and Conditions of Maarefa Educational Platform

First: For Students
    1.    Cancellation of the lesson due to absenteeism: If the teacher misses a confirmed lesson, the student will be compensated with another lesson.
    2.    Cancellation of the lesson due to the teacher’s delay: If the teacher is delayed but provides the required explanation to the student, the platform will communicate with the teacher regarding the delay. In this case, the student will not be compensated with another lesson.
    3.    Cancellation of the lesson by the student: The student has the right to cancel a confirmed lesson, provided the cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Cancellations cannot be made on the same day. If canceled more than 24 hours in advance, the student will be compensated with another lesson.

 

Second: For Teachers
    1.    Cancellation of the lesson due to absenteeism: If the teacher does not attend the scheduled lesson, the platform will communicate with the student to arrange for compensation with another lesson.
    2.    Cancellation of the lesson due to delay: If the teacher is delayed by more than 15 minutes without prior notice, the lesson will be canceled and the student will be compensated with another lesson.
    3.    Teacher evaluation: If the teacher’s rating is below 3.5 out of 5, the platform will communicate with the teacher to provide necessary support and assistance to improve their performance and achieve a higher rating.

 

General Terms:
    •    Sharing of personal information: It is strictly prohibited for teachers to share any personal information (such as mobile numbers or social media accounts) with the intent of taking the student outside of the Maarefa platform. If this condition is violated, legal action will be taken against the violator.
    •    Responsibility of Maarefa Educational Platform: Parents will be informed that the educational video will be available for a specific duration only, after which the platform will not be responsible for the student’s access to the content.
